Job summary

Sasumira Consulting in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior SAP Integration Architect to design and implement integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite and PI/PO. You will lead migration projects, define standards, and ensure secure, scalable interfaces while guiding a team of developers.

You will collaborate with ABAP/BTP developers and vendors, produce technical documentation, and mentor junior engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SAP integration.
• 3–4 years hands-on in SAP CPI / Integration Suite
• 2 end-to-end SAP implementation or upgrade projects
• Experience migrating interfaces from PI/PO to CPI
• Experience integrating SAP with third‑party platforms

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support integrations across SAP (S/4HANA, BTP) and non-SAP systems on CPI and PI/PO
• Translate business requirements into integration specs and mappings
• Lead migration of PI/PO to CPI with assessment, redesign and cutover planning
• Define integration standards, patterns and reusable components
• Ensure interfaces are secure, scalable and monitored with proper error handling
• Present designs to Architecture Review Board and align with EA principles
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with functional consultants, ABAP/BTP developers and vendors
• Prepare technical docs, test scenarios and handover materials
• Mentor junior integration developers and review their work

Key Accountabilities:

• Design, build and support integrations across SAP (S/4HANA, BTP) and non-SAP systems on SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and PI/PO
• Translate business and solution design requirements into integration specifications, interface designs and mapping documents
• Lead the migration of PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, including assessment, redesign and cutover planning
• Define and apply integration standards, patterns, naming conventions and reusable components
• Make sure all interfaces are secure, scalable and monitored, with proper error handling and alerting
• Present integration designs to the Architecture Review Board and align with enterprise architecture principles
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and drive permanent fixes
• Work with functional consultants, ABAP/BTP developers and third‑party vendors on end‑to‑end delivery
• Prepare technical documentation, test scenarios and handover material for support teams
• Mentor junior integration developers and review their work

Experience

• 8+ years in SAP integration, with at least 3–4 years hands‑on in SAP CPI / Integration Suite
• Strong delivery background in SAP PI/PO (ESR, ID, adapter configuration, BPM)
• At least 2 end‑to‑end SAP implementation or upgrade projects, ideally including S/4HANA
• Proven experience migrating interfaces from PI/PO to CPI
• Experience integrating SAP with third‑party platforms (CRM, PLM, banking, eInvoicing, logistics, government portals)
• Exposure to multi‑entity or large enterprise environments; defense, manufacturing or regulated industries preferred
