Job summary

Techmax Technologies in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced SAP Data & Analytics consultant to design and deliver scalable finance-focused data solutions using SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, CDS Views, and cloud analytics.

You will collaborate with finance stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and BI engineers to ensure data accuracy, model performance, and alignment with business reporting requirements. Onsite role for a one-year project with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of SAP Data & Analytics experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, cloud analytics, and data modeling.
• Strong finance domain knowledge, preferably SAP FI/CO (FICO).

Job Purpose

To design, develop, and deliver scalable SAP data and analytics solutions for finance-related business requirements. The consultant will leverage SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, CDS Views, and cloud analytics technologies to enable reliable reporting and data-driven decision-making.

The role will collaborate with finance stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and BI engineers to ensure data accuracy, model performance, and alignment with business reporting requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• SAP Data Modeling and Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain reusable analytical models using SAP Datasphere, including Data Builder, Business Builder, and analytical modeling capabilities.


• SAP S/4HANA Data Expertise: Work with SAP S/4HANA data structures and CDS Views to identify appropriate source objects and enable efficient data extraction and reporting.


• Finance Analytics: Develop data models supporting financial reporting, accounting, and management reporting requirements, leveraging SAP FI/CO (FICO) knowledge.


• Cloud Analytics and BI Integration: Collaborate with BI teams to enable seamless data consumption through Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and other analytics platforms.


• Data Quality and Performance: Ensure data consistency, accuracy, reusability, and optimal performance across analytical models.


• Business Collaboration: Work with finance stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective data and analytics solutions.


• Documentation and Support: Maintain data model documentation, support testing and issue resolution, and ensure smooth handover to BI and reporting teams.

Job-Specific Information

• SAP Datasphere: Data Builder, Business Builder, analytical models, and data integration.


• SAP S/4HANA: Data structures, CDS Views, and source object identification.


• Finance Analytics: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, and management accounting, as relevant to project scope.


• Functional Modules: SAP FI/CO (FICO); SAP SD and MM knowledge is an advantage.


• Cloud Analytics and BI: Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar platforms.


• Data Modeling: Reusable analytical models, data validation, SQL, and performance optimization.

Implementation Lifecycle Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and finance reporting needs.


• Identify relevant SAP S/4HANA source objects and CDS Views.


• Design and develop analytical models in SAP Datasphere.


• Validate data accuracy, transformations, and reconciliation results.


• Collaborate with BI teams during reporting development and integration.


• Support testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and deployment.


• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.


• SAP Datasphere or SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.


• SAP HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud certification is an advantage.

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics, including relevant SAP S/4HANA experience.


• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and cloud analytics solutions.


• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures, CDS Views, and analytical data modeling.


• Practical knowledge of SAP FI/CO (FICO) and finance-related reporting requirements.


• Experience integrating SAP data with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar BI platforms.


• Ability to identify appropriate source objects and build reusable analytical models for downstream reporting.
