SAP Business One Assistant (Techno-Functional)

Al Fan Emirates is a leading UAE homegrown retail brand with multiple branches across Ajman,

Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and with upcoming expansions. Licensed for general trading,

multi-section retail, carpentry, and steel/welding workshops, the company is investing heavily in

technology and systems to optimize operations and streamline processes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Techno-Functional SAP Business One Assistant to support the

implementation, optimization, and day-to-day management of SAP B1. The candidate will act as

a bridge between business users and the IT/consulting team, ensuring smooth integration of

SAP modules across finance, HR, procurement, sales, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in SAP Business One configuration, customization, and support.
• Work with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Support data migration, testing, troubleshooting, and UAT sessions.
• Ensure SAP B1 modules (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, HR) are aligned with
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries using SQL/Crystal Reports.
• Provide end-user training and first-level support.
• Coordinate with external SAP consultants for advanced technical issues.
• Document workflows, SOPs, and system changes for compliance and audits.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
• Techno-functional background with hands-on SAP Business One experience.
• Strong knowledge of core B1 modules : Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, HR/Payroll.
• Ability to design and run SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP dashboards.
• Understanding of UAE business compliance (VAT, payroll, trade licenses, etc.).
• 2–4 years of experience in SAP B1 support/implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to retail/trading sector ERP implementations.
• Experience in integration with POS/WMS systems.
• Familiarity with SAP add‑ons (Boyum, HRMS, Loyalty Apps).
• Knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and reporting.
