Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install sandwich panels and standing seam roofing systems at construction sites.
• Measure, mark, cut, position, align, and secure roofing and wall panels accurately.
• Install flashings, trims, gutters, clips, and other roofing and cladding accessories.
• Apply sealants and waterproofing materials to joints and connections.
• Check alignment, secure fixing, and check for leakage points.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and seaming machines safely.
• Follow shop drawings, project specs, and supervisor instructions.
• Coordinate with other construction team members to complete installation efficiently.
• Follow site safety procedures and use PPE.
• Perform installation work safely at heights.
• Operate or work with manlifts and scissor lifts when required and appropriately qualified.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

A construction opportunity is available in Dubai, UAE, for a Sandwich Panel & Standing Seam Installer. The position involves installing roofing and wall systems, including sandwich panels, standing seam roofing, flashings, trims, gutters, and other related accessories.

The role requires careful measurement, accurate installation, and attention to waterproofing to help ensure roofing and cladding systems are properly secured and protected against leakage. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, using construction tools, and performing duties at heights while following site safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install sandwich panels and standing seam roofing systems at construction sites.
• Measure, mark, cut, position, align, and secure roofing and wall panels accurately.
• Install flashings, trims, gutters, clips, and other roofing and cladding accessories.
• Apply appropriate sealants and waterproofing materials to joints and connection areas.
• Check installed sections for proper alignment, secure fixing, and potential leakage points.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience with sandwich panel installation, standing seam roofing, cladding, or similar construction work is preferred.

Candidates should have a basic ability to understand shop drawings, take accurate measurements, and use common installation tools. Knowledge of roofing, cladding, sealing, and waterproofing practices will be useful for this position.

Experience working with MEWPs, manlifts, or similar access equipment is considered an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a construction-based role that may involve regular outdoor work and working at elevated locations. Candidates should therefore be comfortable working at heights and following the required fall-protection and site-safety procedures.
