Job Summary

Lead and direct the UAE sales team to achieve net sales and profitability targets as per the annual Sales Operational Plan, through the efficient and effective use of business assets and human resources. Protect and develop the Intellectual Property, assets, resources, brand and reputation of the company. Develop and maintain best in class relations with our distribution partners across the region, as well as key decision makers in both private and public sectors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute sales strategies to meet short- and long-term business objectives and increase margins.
  • Develop sales forecasts based on analysis of trends, competition, and market potential.
  • Coach and empower the sales management team to create effective working plans and engage customers.
  • Establish authority levels and delegate responsibilities within the sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards in UAE.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distribution partners concerning payments and orders.
  • Develop and monitor annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Clearly communicate sales plans across regions and assign individual objectives to team members.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to define promotional strategies.
  • Organize and lead regular sales meetings to implement marketing and sales strategies.
  • Implement and control the commercial strategy to optimize resource use and market access.
  • Oversee customer targeting and profiling to ensure adequate market coverage.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders in government and private sectors.
  • Analyze market data and performance, providing insights to the sales management team.
  • Partner with HR to develop strategies for talent retention and ongoing training for the sales team.
  • Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and, communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize open, honest, two way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.
