We're Hiring: Sales Manager – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Ankabut, the UAE’s leading research and education network, is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to join our Revenue & Sales team. This role is critical in driving business growth through client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and the promotion of cutting-edge ICT solutions in the education and research sectors.

Job Title: Sales Manager

Reports to: Executive Director – Revenue & Sales

Industry: Education Technology / Information Technology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process — from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Ankabut’s growth and revenue goals.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with academic institutions and strategic partners.
  • Identify new market opportunities through research, outreach, and competitive analysis.
  • Manage and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecast accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor the sales team, setting KPIs and supporting performance growth.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless client experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • UAE Nationals: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management (preferably in IT/EdTech).
  • Expats: Minimum 12 years of experience in sales management (preferably in IT/EdTech).
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and adapt strategies for maximum impact.
  • Experience managing teams and coaching for performance.
