Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling structured cabling systems and cable-related products including Cat6, Cat6A, fibre optic cables, patch panels, network accessories, and other low-voltage solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technically accurate solutions, and achieving sales targets through strong client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities for structured cabling and related products.
  • Meet with consultants, system integrators, contractors, and end-users to understand project requirements.
  • Recommend suitable cable types, accessories, and solutions based on technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and BOQs.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients.
  • Liaise with suppliers and the internal technical team to ensure accurate product selection.
  • Follow up on submitted offers and negotiate to finalize deals.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and gather new opportunities.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and technical seminars to represent the company and promote products.
  • Maintain updated records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read drawings, understand BOQs, and interpret technical specifications.
