A leading ICT Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Director to develop business strategies and manage operations. You will establish a sales organization, oversee major accounts, and have P&L responsibility. Candidates should have 10+ years in IT/Network Sales and strong business development skills. This role offers an opportunity to grow the business in both short and medium terms, leveraging existing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT/Network Sales and Business Development.
  • Experience in the Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas market is a plus.
  • Hands-on with budgeting and forecasting skills.

Overview

Fantastic Opportunity arisen within a leading ICT Company looking for a Sales Director responsible for the development and operation of the Abu Dhabi business unit. The primary objective of the role is to develop the business in both the short and medium term whilst building upon existing client relationships for delivery of their IT solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Establish, develop and train a sales organisation to address opportunities in Abu Dhabi.
  • Develop a comprehensive Business Plan for a 5 yr period to grow the company.
  • P&L responsibility for the Abu Dhabi Business Unit
  • Tender and Bid responsibilities
  • Develop and manage major accounts in both the private and Government Sector.
  • Define and develop procedures with the Operational Manager
  • Define and develop plans with the Marketing Manager
  • Train junior sales people as required.
  • Prepare annual budget and sales forecast.
  • Rapidly increase the activity to deliver revenues within a 6-12 month period while addressing the medium term opportunities.
Candidate profile
  • The ideal candidate will come from a very strong background in IT / Network Sales and Business Development.
  • You will have experience in building a sales organisation
  • Minimum of 10 yrs experience.
  • Ideally experience in Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas market and / or Abu Dhabi market.
