Sales Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and organized Sales Assistant to support daily sales operations and deliver excellent customer service. The Sales Assistant will help the sales team achieve targets by assisting customers, processing sales, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
- Assist customers with product or service inquiries
- Support the sales team in achieving individual and team sales targets
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and elevate when needed
- Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively assist customers
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain and update sales records and customer databases
- Prepare basic sales reports and documentation
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization
- Ensure sales areas are clean, organized, and well-presented
- Support promotions, displays, and in-store or online campaigns
Communication & Coordination
- Follow up with customers on orders, deliveries, and payments
- Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, or finance
- Support onboarding of new sales staff when required

Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a positive demeanor
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, MS Office, or CRM tools)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service
- Ability to upsell or cross-sell products and services
- Cash handling or POS experience
