What do we expect from you

Mondrian Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Account Director Government to join our team and spearhead sales efforts targeting government entities diplomatic missions and GCCbased organizations. This role is essential in developing and nurturing key relationships driving business and ensuring that Mondrian becomes the goto destination for government and GCC clients seeking worldclass hospitality and meeting spaces. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities developing tailored proposals and delivering exceptional service to government clients ensuring they have an unforgettable experience at Mondrian Abu Dhabi.

How your day looks like:
  • Lead the sales strategy and efforts for government and GCC accounts ensuring that Mondrian Abu Dhabi becomes the preferred destination for government meetings conferences and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers in government organizations diplomatic missions and regional businesses within the GCC region.
  • Target and engage with highpotential government and GCC accounts to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals ensuring that they meet the specific needs and expectations of each client while showcasing Mondrians luxurious offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with government entities and GCC clients to ensure both profitability and longterm relationships.
  • Coordinate closely with the events operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless of government and GCC events and bookings.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and governmentrelated opportunities to stay ahead of industry demands and make informed sales decisions.
  • Regularly track sales performance against targets adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure business growth and profitability.
  • Participate in highlevel meetings conferences and events relevant to government and GCC markets to promote Mondrian Abu Dhabis services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that every government and GCC client has a seamless experience from initial inquiry to postevent followup.
  • Stay up to date with local regulations protocols and cultural sensitivities within the GCC region to ensure the highest level of service and compliance.
Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales account management or business development with at least 3 years focused on government accounts or the GCC region.
  • Experience working in a truly global work environment is essential.
  • Prior preopening experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience and established network within government and/or GCCbased entities diplomatic missions and other relevant organizations.
  • Indepth knowledge of government protocols processes and decisionmaking structures within the GCC region.
  • Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build longlasting relationships with highlevel stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing largescale events conferences and meetings especially those related to government clients.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Fluency in English is required with proficiency in Arabic being a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry specifically luxury hotels and event management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Knowledge of hospitality sales and CRM software (e.g. OPERA) is an advantage.
