Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi is seeking Safety Assistant Engineers to support the implementation and enforcement of HSE procedures across site operations. This role focuses on promoting a safe working environment through active monitoring and compliance with permits and standards.

You will monitor high-risk activities, conduct routine site inspections, report and help implement corrective actions, and coordinate with supervisors and safety teams to enhance safety awareness and regulatory

• Monitor high-risk activities such as confined space entry, TBM backup operations, lifting activities, electrical works and cross passage construction.
• Conduct routine site inspections and identify hazards to ensure immediate reporting and corrective action during each shift.
• Coordinate with supervisors and safety teams to promote safety awareness, maintain regulatory compliance and prevent incidents.
• Assist in enforcing permits and safety standards across site operations.
