Job summary

NMC GROUP SERVICES is seeking a dedicated nurse to uphold the profession's reputation and act as a positive role model for nursing and support staff. The role requires independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care under indirect supervision, in line with the UAE Code of Conduct and licensure guidelines.

Applicants must hold a UAE nursing license, post-graduate qualification, and an AHA BLS card.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid nursing license in the UAE.
• Post-graduate specialist qualification, diploma, degree, or masters in the specialty.
• AHA Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the reputation of the nursing profession at all times.
• Act as a positive role model for nursing and support staff.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care under indirect supervision of senior nursing staff.
• Comply with UAE Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice and licensure.
• Refuse to undertake any task for which trained or not competent.
• Seek expert help when the demand of care or skill falls outside capabilities.
• Delegate tasks only to trained, skilled and competent team members.
• Assist in updating clinical policies and guidelines in line with skill and experience.
• Engage with and contribute to the professional development of colleagues.
• Ensure re-licensure is managed in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Seek senior nursing support when a patient's condition fails to respond to treatment.
• Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority.
• Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Hold a post-graduate specialist qualification, diploma, degree, or masters in the specialty.
• Manage their own professional re-licensure.
• Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Have previous experience within the specialist field.
• Have completed the relevant competencies within the specialist field.
