Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Project Engineer Rivers and Dykes in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for projects and ensuring compliance with safety and budget requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience, including strong skills in CAD, QGIS, and project management. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience at an infrastructure contractor.
• Experience with relevant working methods, techniques, and professional software.
• Command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in Dutch is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Draft specifications and procedures for tenders and projects.
• Design and develop technical solutions and offer alternatives.
• Convince customers of the feasibility and safety of solutions.
• Determine project scope, supervise colleagues and subcontractors.
• Report progress regarding small projects and identify deviations.
• Assist in executing tenders and contribute to process improvements.
