Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Data Operations/Risk Analyst to strengthen risk controls and operational insights in Abu Dhabi. You will review campaigns, perform data quality checks, and analyze user behavior to support decisions and model iteration.

The role requires 2+ years in data analysis or data operations with exposure to risk control, strong SQL, and Python/R skills. Mandarin is a plus in a globally connected team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; 2+ years of experience in data analysis or data operations with exposure to risk control or security domains.
• Proficient in SQL with ability to conduct independent data analysis; experience with Python or R is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and risk intuition; ability to identify risks from data and articulate causes.
• Fluency in spoken Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support risk operations by conducting campaign reviews, data quality checks, case reviews, and user behaviour analysis.
• Perform in-depth analysis combining internal and external data to provide actionable insights for decisions and model iteration.
• Continuously monitor data, define risk indicators, optimise workflows, and establish a standardised risk operations framework.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and other teams to ensure smooth campaigns and risk control.

• Support risk operations by conducting campaign reviews, activity data quality checks, case reviews, and user behaviour analysis based on operational needs
• Perform in-depth analysis combining internal and external data to provide actionable insights supporting operational decisions, strategy development, and model iteration
• Continuously monitor data, define risk indicators, optimise workflows, and establish a standardised risk operations framework to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and other teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and risk control strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; 2+ years of experience in data analysis or data operations, with exposure to at least one of the following: business risk control, marketing anti-fraud, account security, or fund security
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to conduct independent data analysis; experience with R or Python is a plus
• Strong business acumen and risk intuition, with solid logical thinking and data sensitivity — candidates should be able to identify risks from anomalous data and articulate the underlying causes
• Fluency in spoken Mandarine is a plus
