Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in risk, compliance, governance, security, or a comparable function
• At least 2 years of experience in the retail sector
• Practical understanding of Anti-Money Laundering compliance requirements
• Working knowledge of Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption controls and ethical business practices
• Experience with regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and internal policy implementation
• Strong knowledge of fraud prevention, fraud detection, and investigation processes
• Able to assess conflicts of interest and recommend mitigation measures
• Capable of transforming risk findings into actionable plans

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating risk and compliance policies and procedures for retail operations across multiple countries
• Coordinate with country teams to confirm alignment with established security, risk, and compliance requirements
• Support the Vice President Risk and Compliance in implementing risk management programs and compliance initiatives across the business
• Contribute to contingency planning and recommend practical responses for disasters, emergencies, and other crisis situations
• Evaluate existing risk and compliance systems and recommend improvements, controls, and process enhancements
• Analyze retail data, committee discussions, incident information and risk indicators to identify trends requiring management attention
• Translate risk findings into clear action plans and follow up on agreed corrective measures
• Participate in investigations involving employee theft, ethical breaches, corruption, fraud and violations of internal policies
• Support fraud prevention and detection activities by reviewing incidents, control weaknesses and recurring risk patterns
• Ensure internal and external investigations are handled in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and recognized industry practices
• Help reduce exposure to civil litigation by maintaining appropriate investigation processes, documentation, and governance controls
• Support Anti-Money Laundering compliance and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption requirements across relevant retail activities
• Assess and manage potential conflicts of interest and elevate significant concerns when necessary
• Work with relevant business functions to strengthen regulatory compliance, governance, and risk awareness
