Job summary

A construction firm in Dubai seeks an HSE Officer to ensure safety compliance on-site. The role involves conducting inspections, delivering safety briefings, and maintaining safety logs. Candidates should have NEBOSH IGC certification and 1-3 years of HSE experience, particularly in road/infrastructure projects. Strong communication skills and familiarity with UAE safety regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of HSE experience in construction, preferably road/infrastructure.
• Familiarity with UAE/local labor laws & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Support HSE induction for new workers and visitors.
• Report near misses, unsafe acts, and minor incidents.
• Maintain HSE checklists, logs, and daily reports.
• Assist in preliminary investigations of site incidents.
• Monitor site housekeeping and environmental controls.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety and emergency equipment.
• Participate in emergency drills and evacuation plans.
• Assist senior HSE staff during audits and inspections.
• Help enforce compliance with safety procedures and site rules.
