Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Rigger Level 2 to support lifting, rigging, and material-handling activities. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of rigging experience in petrochemical environments and be familiar with SABIC safety protocols. The role entails executing rigging operations safely, selecting appropriate lifting tools, and ensuring compliance with strict safety procedures. This position offers a contract for 2 months with a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of rigging experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial plants.
• Mandatory SABIC shutdown/turnaround experience requires familiarity with SABIC safety and rigging protocols.
• Rigger Level 2 Certification (Third-Party Approved) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging duties including lifting, lowering, and positioning heavy equipment.
• Coordinate with crane operators and rigging supervisors for safe operations.
• Conduct visual inspections of rigging gear and report defects.
