Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy Equipment Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accountant for its Abu Dhabi SSC. The role covers revenue recognition, WIP and cost accruals, and strict adherence to IFRS, local GAAP, and J-SOX.

You will collaborate across Elliott Entities and EMA leadership to ensure precise reporting and strong internal controls. The candidate will handle monthly close, balance sheet substantiation, and intercompany transactions, with requirements for ACCA/CPA or equivalent, ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualification ACCA/CMA/CA/CPA (or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel and financial software proficiency.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Revenue recognition: reconcile monthly revenue per closing schedule and link costs to each job.
• WIP reconciliation: ensure monthly WIP balances are reconciled per closing schedule and investigate variances.
• Cost accruals: compute accruals for unreceived internal costs and for over-allocations when job costs exceed PO.
• Regulatory compliance: adhere to IFRS, local GAAP, and J-SOX controls.
• Balance sheet reconciliations: prepare and substantiate monthly reconciliations and resolve items.
• Commission processing: prepare and calculate monthly commission payments.
• Banking controls: verify bank payment requests against documents and approvals.
• Ad-hoc support: assist SSC Accounting Manager with reporting and audits.
