Job summary

A leading retail operator in leisure experiences in the United Arab Emirates is seeking candidates for a role focused on ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the retail department. The ideal applicant will assist in inventory management, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Candidates should possess at least a higher secondary education and have good communication skills. Experience in retail or warehousing is preferred but not mandatory.

Job description

To ensure smooth and efficient operations in the retail department in relation to the company core process thus directly impacting on the delivery of the experience. This position plays an essential role in establishing and up-keeping the efficient running of day-to-day store and stock room operations front and back of house. Ensures the store and stock rooms are replenished and clean. Takes a proactive role in adhering to the Farah service standards as well as leisure facility branding guidelines where required. Displaying excellent product knowledge, efficiency, reliability and providing guests with the ultimate retail experience is a priority.

Job Overview
  • Stock, load, cut and sort product in order to ensure maximum availability and department sales.
  • Operate equipment (pallet jack, box cutters, dollies, cleaning supplies etc.) According to company guidelines.
  • Efficiently handle computerized inventory that involves barcode scanners, pricing machines, calculators etc.
  • Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement.
  • Arranging and maintaining product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take product inventory.
  • Applying product knowledge while assisting colleagues and improve the same on a regular basis.
  • Working on promotions and achieving set targets.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Stock shops and build and maintain displays.
  • Assist in keeping front and back of house clean and mopping up spills etc.
  • Answer department phone and provide assistance to callers.
  • Maintain production counts by pallets and/or cases and assist with departmental ordering.
  • Ensuring all products displayed are properly displayed and labeled as per our brand standards.
  • Assisting in quarterly and yearly inventory counts.
  • Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to perform to meet the needs of the business.
  • Medically able to work in all weather conditions
  • Physically able to carry/lift items, climb ladder etc.
