Job summary

Jing Hau in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our retail team. You will handle customer transactions, operate the POS, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering friendly service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior cashier experience, strong math skills, and the ability to multitask during busy shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. UAE work authorization is assumed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Must be able to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
• Scan items and process payments accurately using the POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Ensure all transactions are processed in a timely manner
• Count money in the cash register at the end of each shift and reconcile with sales receipts
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies
• Promote special offers or discounts to customers when applicable
