Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or other equipment.
• Answer customers’ questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Assist with bagging purchases and loading them into shoppers’ vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Greet customers upon entry into the store and provide them with assistance as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges/refunds, etc.
