Job summary

A prominent finance company in Dubai seeks an Accounts Executive to support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial reports and ensuring internal compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring the General Ledger, generating MIS reports, and collaborating with vendors. This position also requires skills in Excel and knowledge of ERP systems, making it crucial for a successful finance operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Executive or Accounts Assistant.
• Experience in tax accounting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of tax filing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the General Ledger (G/L) and sub ledger.
• Prepare and scrutinize G/L schedules.
• Reconcile various GL accounts for monthly reporting.
• Generate detailed MIS reports.
• Handle petty cash for RSO, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Shared Service AP team for account reconciliations.
• Analyze travel expenses and maintain monthly schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Create Local Purchase Orders and manage invoice verification.
• Work on clearing accounts including cash and credit cards.
• Generate inter-company reports and follow up on invoices.
• Provide timely finance-related information to departments.
• Coordinate with vendors for proper invoice submission.
