Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group, launching Kimpton Sevn Dubai, seeks a Restaurants & Bar General Manager to lead three distinct F&B concepts—D.G.C.B., Scarlet Macaw and The Nest—from pre-opening through launch and daily operations. You will shape service culture, recruit and train teams, and drive commercial performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in F&B leadership, pre-opening success, and Dubai/UAE experience, with fluent English and Spanish.

• Previous roles as a Restaurants & Bar GM, F&B Manager or senior multi-outlet leader.
• Strong experience across restaurants, bars and/or lifestyle F&B.
• Genuine strength in beverage and cocktail operations.
• Luxury, premium F&B or high-energy hospitality exposure.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Proven pre-opening and opening experience; Dubai/UAE preferred.
• Experience across restaurant, cocktail bar and poolside operations is a plus.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Restaurants & Bar General Manager with presence, personality, and a serious love for hospitality to play a key leadership role in the pre-opening and launch of Kimpton Sevn Dubai.

This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up.

You’ll lead the Restaurants & Bars operation across three distinctive F&B concepts — D.G.C.B., Scarlet Macaw, and The Nest — taking them from pre-opening planning and team building through launch and into successful day-to-day operation.

This is not a sit-behind-the-desk role. You’ll be at the heart of the operation — shaping concepts, building teams, developing service culture, driving commercial strategy, and making sure every outlet feels unmistakably like itself from the moment the doors open.

You’ll bring together strong operational discipline with creativity, genuine guest connection, commercial thinking, and a sharp eye for what makes great F&B work.

The Nest

Relaxed poolside hospitality with elevated food, refreshing drinks, music and good vibes — from lazy afternoons to high-energy peak periods.

Your Role

As Restaurants & Bar General Manager, you’ll be responsible for bringing the F&B vision of Kimpton Sevn Dubai to life.

From developing the team and operational standards to overseeing training, pre-opening preparations, launch execution and commercial performance, you’ll be a key force in defining how these three concepts are experienced by our guests.

Pre-Opening & Opening

You’ll help build the operation from the ground up, working closely with the hotel leadership team and key stakeholders across:

• Recruitment and team building
• Pre-opening budgets and operational planning
• SOP development and implementation
• Service standards and guest journey design
• Training programmes and team development
• Menu and beverage development
• Supplier and procurement coordination
• Systems, technology and operational readiness
• Mock services and operational rehearsalsl>
• Opening strategy and launch execution
• Developing the culture and personality of each outlet

More importantly, you’ll help define what these outlets feel like from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the pre-opening, opening and ongoing operation of all three outlets
• Bring each concept to life while maintaining consistent Kimpton service standards
• Own revenue, profitability, budgets, costs, productivity and commercial strategy
• Drive beverage excellence across cocktails, spirits, wine and overall beverage performance
• Lead, coach and develop outlet managers and F&B teams
• Build a culture that is warm, accountable, curious and fun
• Be highly visible on the floor and genuinely connected with guests
• Build relationships with VIPs, regulars, influencers and the local F&B community
• Partner closely with Culinary, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Procurement and the wider hotel team
• Identify opportunities for activations, events, partnerships and new revenue streams
• Continuously evolve the concepts based on guest feedback, market trends and commercial opportunities

What Success Looks Like

You’ll help launch three outlets that are commercially strong, operationally sharp and genuinely loved by guests.

Success means building teams who are proud of where they work, creating service cultures that feel authentic to Kimpton, and establishing each concept with its own personality and place within Dubai’s dynamic F&B scene.

From the first mock service to the first full house, you’ll be one of the people responsible for setting the standard.

Who You Are

You’re a confident hospitality leader who knows how to balance people, product, profit and personality.

You’ll ideally bring:

• 5+ years’ progressive F&B leadership experience
• Previous experience as a Restaurants & Bar General Manager, F&B Manager or senior multi-outlet leader
• Strong experience across restaurants, bars and/or lifestyle F&B
• Genuine strength in beverage and cocktail operations
