We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of a premium bakery and patisserie café. The ideal candidate will have strong operational expertise, exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires someone who can manage front-of-house and back-of-house teams, optimize workflows and uphold high standards in food quality, hygiene and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage staff schedules, shift planning and table allocation to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Monitor product display, food quality and presentation ensuring consistency across all offerings.
- Implement and maintain hygiene, safety and sanitation standards in compliance with UAE regulations.
Team Management
- Lead, train and mentor a team of service staff, baristas and kitchen personnel.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team efficiency.
- Foster a positive work culture and ensure high levels of employee engagement and professionalism.
Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure a warm, welcoming and high‑quality experience for all guests.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor service standards and continuously look for improvements to enhance guest experience.
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cost control to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders with suppliers and manage stock effectively.
- Review daily sales reports, manage petty cash and support overall financial accuracy.
- Develop strategies to increase footfall, revenue and customer retention.
Marketing & Menu Support
- Collaborate with the culinary and marketing teams to support new product launches, promotions and seasonal menus.
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of bakery and patisserie products.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or café management (bakery/patisserie experience preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Solid understanding of F&B operations, food safety and hygiene standards.
- Experience in POS systems, inventory management and basic financial reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle operational challenges gracefully.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Willing to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
