Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in the UAE. The role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in respiratory therapy techniques, patient education, and the operation of advanced respiratory care equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Operate and maintain ventilators and other advanced respiratory support equipment.
• Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health, disease management, and home care techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
• Licensure: Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license or eligibility in the UAE.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in respiratory therapy (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols, ventilator management, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
