• Maintains complete knowledge and complies with all hotel and departmental standards, policies and procedures.
• Processes all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations according to the standards.
• Observes proper telephone manners at all times.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely information which are essential to the reservation.
• Handles guest queries, requests and complaints related to reservations in a polite and efficient manner.
• Sells the best‑rated room to meet the guest’s needs and maximize the room revenue.
• Suggests alternative date for requests in overbooked situations.
• Explains hotel’s policies such as check‑in and check‑out times, guarantee, no‑shows and cancellations to ensure guest understanding.
• Sets up proper billing accounts according to the policy.
• Liaises with the Sales Department regarding booking of group rooms, banquet or conventions and long‑term apartment tenants.
