Job summary

DrBalcony in Dubai is seeking a senior video editor to cut hero content, build and manage template libraries, and own pacing, sound design, captions, and motion to turn raw footage into retention-driven edits.

You will automate workflows, maintain assets, and explain why edits retain, requiring 4+ years of viral short-form experience and expertise in Premiere/DaVinci/AE, CapCut Pro, motion graphics, and AI editing tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years editing short-form video with proven viral output.
• Expert in at least one professional suite (Premiere, DaVinci, After Effects) plus CapCut Pro.
• Motion graphics and sound design capability beyond basic cuts.
• Demonstrated systems thinking; built template/preset libraries before.

Responsibilities

• Cut hero content to a standard that competes with full-time creators.
• Build and maintain the template library and presets for self-serve variants.
• Own pacing, cuts, sound design, captions, and motion for retention.
• Automate workflows: batch captioning, auto-reframe, preset-driven exports.
• Maintain asset organization, file naming, and archiving to avoid rework.
• Provide honest data on time usage to keep briefs realistic.
