Qualifications

• Experience with PostgreSQL internals, high availability, and performance tuning.
• Proven production DB administration with AWS RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration in remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage highly available PostgreSQL architectures on AWS RDS/Aurora.
• Optimize performance through query analysis, indexing and partitioning.
• Ensure disaster recovery with backups, replication and failover processes.
• Diagnose slow queries, locks, and bottlenecks for large-scale databases.
• Automate routine maintenance and promote operational excellence.
