HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in the United Arab Emirates (Remote) seeks an Audit Associate / Internal Auditor / Audit Executive to support internal audit activities in a part-time, fully remote role.

The position offers exposure to international business operations, risk management, and cross-functional process improvements while maintaining strong governance and internal control practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business, Audit or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in internal/external audit, accounting, risk or compliance preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment and processes.
• Knowledge of audit planning, testing, evidence gathering, documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, ERP, spreadsheets, data analysis and audit tools.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify control gaps and potential risks objectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities with follow-up skills.
• Professional, ethical, independent, remote-working demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit reviews across financial, operational, administrative, and business processes.
• Review transactions, records, procedures, and supporting documentation for accuracy and control.
• Assess internal controls, identify weaknesses, and evaluate risks.
• Perform audit testing, data analysis, reconciliations, and procedures.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, observations, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate audit findings and practical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Track corrective actions and monitor remediation progress.
• Support risk assessments, control reviews, compliance monitoring, and governance initiatives.
• Maintain organized audit records, evidence, and reports.
• Recommend improvements to controls, processes, risk management, and efficiency.
