Job summary

Fugro seeks an experienced Remote and Autonomous Technical Superintendent to coordinate the ROC and autonomous tech teams. You will ensure connectivity, IT infrastructure and vendor performance align with safety and project goals.

You will lead projects through all stages, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive continuous improvement while keeping security and budgets in sharp focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in science, engineering, electronics, information technology or related field.
• 8+ years experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role on technical projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder technical programs through all lifecycle stages.
• Knowledge of network architectures, data communication and IT infrastructure for remote operations.
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Experience with remote operation technologies and autonomous systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set and coordinate the technical plan with ROC, autonomous operations, HSE, commercial and clients.
• Act as the regional ROC technical authority and main contact for progress and decisions.
• Provide oversight of remote networks, IT infrastructure and vendor performance.
• Collaborate on global rollout of secure, reliable networks for remote and autonomous tech.
• Translate operational needs into technical requirements and monitor progress.
• Ensure rapid response to connectivity and system issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain adherence to budgets and timelines while sharing updates with stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends and guide practical technology choices.
