About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Security Testing & Quality Assurance Analyst to help ensure that business applications and IT systems meet established security requirements before and after deployment.

You will support security testing, validate remediation activities, document test results, and collaborate with software development and cybersecurity teams to identify potential weaknesses. This role is suitable for an early-career IT professional who enjoys testing, troubleshooting, and improving the security and reliability of technology systems.

Training and mentorship will be provided to support your professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with security testing of web applications, APIs, and internal business systems.
• Execute approved test cases to validate security requirements.
• Help identify common security weaknesses and configuration issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical knowledge may be considered.
• Basic understanding of software testing and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, and common security concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good attention to detail and documentation abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
• Willingness to learn security testing methodologies and tools.
• Commitment to confidentiality and authorized testing only.
• Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. Academic projects, internships, personal labs, and introductory security or software testing certifications are advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 application security risks.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite Community Edition.
