Job summary

Minor International is seeking a Cluster Assistant IT Manager to support the IT Manager in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient hotel technology operations. The role covers planning and maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting core hotel systems, and coordinating with vendors and corporate IT teams.

Responsibilities include disaster recovery, cybersecurity, staff training, budgeting, and asset management. Remote work is available, and the position is full-time in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 3 years IT management experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality software, networks, servers, Windows, and cloud services.
• Cybersecurity, data protection, and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Leadership, communication, and project management with vendor/budget skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and software systems.
• Support critical hotel systems (PMS, POS, key card access, IP telephony, CCTV, guest Wi‑Fi).
• Enforce cybersecurity protocols, ensure data backups, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Provide IT support across departments, troubleshoot issues, and train staff on IT systems and policies.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and corporate IT teams for support and system upgrades.
• Assist with IT budgeting, procurement, and asset inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation for critical system issues and emergencies.
