Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI Tooling Engineer to design and scale an internal agentic platform that centralizes knowledge, data, and tools in a secure, accessible environment. You will own the full lifecycle from user needs to deployment, monitoring, and improvement, using Python, LangGraph, LLM APIs, and MCP.

As part of a globally distributed, remote team, you will build production-ready AI agents and integrations, optimize costs, and ensure robust security and access controls across the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production software (Python and SQL).
• Proven production AI agent with LangGraph used by real users.
• Experience with agent development: tool calling, embeddings, prompts.
• Hands-on with major LLM APIs and cost optimization.
• Experience with MCP or similar tool protocols (server and client).
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, tests, monitoring, and observability.
• Familiarity with Langfuse or similar tracing tools.
• Experience with cloud infra (GCP/AWS), containers, IAM, and CI/CD.
• Proficient English communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy new platform capabilities from design to production.
• Integrate internal systems and SaaS apps via APIs and data models.
• Build AI agents and MCP servers enabling internal interactions.
• Improve retrieval workflows, tool calling, prompts, and context management.
• Establish AI quality standards with datasets, benchmarks, tests, tracing.
• Monitor cost per answer and token usage; optimize models and prompts.
• Troubleshoot production issues and incorporate user feedback.
• Turn PoCs into secure, scalable cloud apps with proper IAM and deployment processes.
• Use AI coding agents in development workflow with tests and reviews.
• Support other teams and define standards for AI-generated apps.
• Engage stakeholders to understand needs and communicate solutions.
