Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Patience, creativity and an ability to engage with children of different ages.
• Good communication skills to communicate with parents.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children.
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities with the children such as playing games, reading books or doing crafts.
• Monitor the safety of the children at all times.
• Change diapers, dress and bathe the children as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy play area for the children.
