Job summary

PPOAR in Abu-Dhabi invites applications for a Light Driver to join our team. The role requires a valid UAE driving license, reliable service, and safe delivery practices.

You will transport goods, keep the vehicle clean, follow traffic rules, use GPS for navigation, and help with loading and unloading as needed. Salary is negotiating and commensurate with experience.

Candidates should be familiar with Abu Dhabi roads; prior light-vehicle experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license from UAE.
• Previous light driver experience preferred but not required.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and traffic rules.
• Ability to use GPS devices for navigation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods in a safe manner as per supervisor instructions.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained at all times.
• Follow all relevant traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, and tires.
• Ensure paperwork related to deliveries is accurate and up to date.
• Assist unloading/loading of goods when necessary.
• Report issues on the road or mechanical problems promptly.
