Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Driver in Sharjah or elsewhere in UAE.
• Valid driver’s license (manual transmission) for at least 1 year.
• Good knowledge of Sharjah roads and surrounding areas.
• Familiarity with GPS devices.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all relevant road safety laws and regulations
• Deliver passengers safely to their destinations on time
• Ensure the vehicle is in good condition (e.g. clean inside and out)
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading their baggage
• Take accurate routes for long trips
• Monitor traffic conditions and plan alternate routes when necessary
• Maintain a logbook of trips, recording destinations, mileage, etc.
• Report any vehicle problems or incidents immediately
