Job summary

A financial services firm in Dubai is seeking a Relationship Manager for SMEs to enhance their client base. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience in acquiring SME and Corporate clients, with a strong background in financial products like Business Loans and Trade Finance. This role involves business development, managing client engagement, and continuously onboarding clients onto the Yubi Loans platform. Excellent communication skills and a track record of achieving sales goals are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire SME and Corporate borrowers across financing products.

  • Conduct business development activities to convert targets into customers.
  • Manage client engagement and build relationships with key stakeholders.

About The Team And Role

The Client Acquisition Group has been tasked with scaling up Yubi Loans continuously increasing the SME borrower base by pitching Yubi Loans platform. You will be anchoring efforts to devise and execute go to market strategies conduct business development build relationship acquire SME borrowers across all sectors in UAE and onboard them on Yubi Loans platform.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identifying target SME and Corporate borrowers across all financing products including Business Loans POS Merchant Loans Loan against Property Equipment Loans Working Capital and Trade Finance presenting Yubis value proposition acquiring and successfully onboarding them on Yubi Loans Platform.
  • Evaluate target SME and Corporate borrowers and qualify them to ascertain Yubis product fit.
  • Reaching out to the said target SME and Corporate borrowers and conduct business development activities to convert them into customers.
  • Initiate and manage client engagement; meet and build relationships at CXO/CFO Treasury Teams with constant reengagement till onboarding exercise has concluded.
  • Understand the SME and Corporate borrowers debt problem statement and suitably pitch Yubis product offerings to solve for the problem statement.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to internal transaction team that will execute the debt transaction of the onboarded SME / Corporate borrower.
  • Monitor the transaction status and fulfilment status of the financing requirements of the SME and Corporate borrower at a regular level and ensure that the borrowers do not go dormant on the platform.
  • Seek and obtain feedback from onboarded SME and Corporate borrowers and share ideas to enhance the onboarding experience on Yubi and pass on the feedback to technology teams.
Required Skills
  • 6 to 10 years experience in acquisition of SME and Corporate clients with any form of enterprise financing requirement.
  • Experience in SME and Commercial Banking asset products across Unsecured Business Loans Merchant POS Loans Asset Backed Loans Loan against Product Capex Loans Working Capital and Trade Finance required.
  • Selfstarter and a faster learner who is willing to push the envelope and has ambitions to scale up a business rapidly.
  • Avid networker excellent at communication and presentations skills with topnotch customer service approach.
  • Someone who focusses on driving his unit and making it a significant profit centre. Ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial skills is a must.
  • Proven track record of meeting Sales goals ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Experience selling at the C level and navigating large organizations.
  • Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple relationships parallelly.
  • Bachelors in Finance and Accounting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication managing technical proposals.
  • Ability to work under pressure & track record of delivering targets.
