Job summary

King’s College Hospital Dubai is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients in the outpatient facility. You will record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and develop care plans with physicians.

You will assist during examinations, operate equipment, maintain infection control, and communicate clearly with patients and families while upholding confidentiality, ethics, and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients.
• Adhere to Dubai Health Authority guidelines and all relevant regulatory standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs on an ongoing basis.
• Provide regular and accurate updates to patients and their relatives, ensuring communication is sensitive and easy to understand.
• Support patients, caregivers, and families by involving them in the care process where appropriate and providing health education to promote healthy lifestyles.

• Uphold high standards of care across all outpatient services.
• Participate in nursing audits and quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensure that relevant information regarding patient condition and care is communicated clearly to the multidisciplinary team.
• Work flexibly across the organization to maintain safe staffing levels or as part of professional development needs identified in the appraisal process.

• UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Hasworked in hospital or similar setting for at least 2 years.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
