Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, invites applications from compassionate NICU nurses to provide patient-centered and evidence-based care in a high-acuity Level 3 unit.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, uphold safety standards, and contribute to ongoing learning by mentoring staff and learners.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years NICU experience required; Arabic basics and English proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• At least 3 years NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU; UAE experience beneficial.
• Basic Arabic language skills expected.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
2. Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
3. Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
4. Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3 years' NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU

UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
