Job summary

Client of Alliance Recruitment Agency is seeking to support the Research & Development team in Dubai. The role involves managing laboratory operations, conducting tests in refrigeration systems, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least one year of experience in refrigeration systems. Responsibilities include conducting lab tests, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with testing organizations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in refrigeration systems and testing applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a scientific and detail-oriented approach.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Job description

To support the Research & Development team in all activities related to refrigeration systems, laboratory testing, documentation, reporting, and compliance. The role involves managing laboratory operations, conducting tests, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests as per established standards and procedures.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, including testing procedures, standards, test reports, calibration records, and correspondence.
• Prepare and submit test reports in the prescribed format for approval by relevant authorities.
• Ensure proper identification, traceability, and handling of test samples throughout the testing process.
• Coordinate the receipt and procurement of laboratory equipment and testing packages.
• Monitor calibration schedules for laboratory equipment and maintain updated calibration certificates and records.
• Assist in planning and scheduling product approvals and certifications through third‑party agencies.
• Inspect samples before submission to third‑party testing organizations and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Manage correspondence and documentation related to the R&D department.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements within laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in refrigeration systems and testing applications.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration or merchandising equipment standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a scientific and detail‑oriented approach.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
