Job summary

Showcify, Inc. in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Economic Modeler to develop fit-for-purpose economic models for production optimization and to ensure models reflect current plant operating conditions.

You will support procurement with economic evaluations of feedstock and product margins, and maintain auditable records. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, economics or equivalent and about 8 years of experience in economic modeling within oil/gas,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Economics or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in Economic Model Building and Interpretation, preferably in oil/gas/petrochemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret economic models for production optimization and feedstock evaluation.
• Maintain up-to-date models with actual plant operating conditions and data.
• Support procurement with economic evaluations of feedstock and products.
• Prepare monthly/weekly margin reports and retro analyses on plan vs. actual performance.
• Coordinate with refinery teams to obtain yield patterns and material balances; identify improvement opportunities.
