Flyper is seeking a Reference Librarian in El-Ain, Egypt. The role focuses on providing reference services, guiding patrons through physical and digital collections, and maintaining an organized library. The position emphasizes information retrieval expertise and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Library Science or related field and at least two years of library experience, with proficiency in computer-based research and cataloging systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a library setting.
• Strong knowledge of information retrieval methods and resources.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
• Proficiency in using computers and technology for research purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Provide reference services to library users, including assistance with research inquiries and locating materials
• Help patrons navigate the library's physical and digital collections
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date collection by shelving materials and ensuring proper organization of resources
• Develop and deliver information literacy instruction sessions for library users
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop policies and procedures related to reference services
• Stay informed on current trends in information retrieval and organization
• Assist with collection development by identifying gaps in the collection and making recommendations for new materials
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to patron inquiries in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
