Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Hire for transport-specific roles such as drivers, helpers, warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics coordinators.
- Develop and maintain job postings on job portals, social media, and industry networks.
- Conduct initial screening and schedule interviews with line managers.
- Ensure timely recruitment to meet operational requirements.
Candidate Sourcing
- Use multiple sourcing channels: job sites, social media, referrals, local recruitment agencies, and field mobilization.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate database, especially for high-volume roles like drivers and loaders.
- Organize walk-in interviews, job fairs, and local recruitment drives.
Documentation & Compliance
- Verify candidate documents such as driving licenses, permits, ID proofs, experience certificates, background checks, etc.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain updated recruitment trackers, reports, and MIS.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with operations managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Provide timely updates on hiring status and challenges.
- Assist with onboarding, joining formalities, induction, and orientation activities.
Employer Branding
- Promote the company as an employer of choice in the transport and logistics sector.
- Support initiatives to improve candidate experience and retention.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1–3 years of recruitment experience; logistics/transport sector experience preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Office and recruitment software/ATS.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written).
- Effective communicator (written and spoken).
- Be fully versed in all the rules and regulations of the regulatory authorities and other relevant governing bodies (RTA, KHDA, MOE).
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Time management skills - Ability to multi-task and handle peaks in workload.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience hiring blue-collar and field roles (drivers, Bus Conductor, workshop technicians).
- Knowledge of recruitment tools, portals, and social media sourcing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Good understanding of transport/logistics operations is a plus.
- Strong organization and reporting skills.
