Primary Purpose of Role
The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, ensuring timely, high-quality hiring aligned with manpower plans (MPP), Compliance with relevant regulatory authorities, and Tawteen (Emiratization) targets.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with HR Coordinators & principals to identify current and future staffing needs per entity.
- Align recruitment plans with approved MPP, budget, and academic timelines.
- Ensure replacement planning is initiated proactively, particularly for Tawteen-critical roles.
- Proactively identify upcoming staffing gaps and hard-to-fill roles and recommend recruitment strategies in advance of market demand.
Talent Sourcing & Headhunting
- Manage job postings across all recruitment platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, university portals, recruitment agencies, and Liwa Education career platforms.
- Conduct proactive headhunting for critical and leadership roles (academic and non-academic).
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Engage with universities, teacher training institutes, and professional networks locally and internationally.
Employer Branding & Market Presence
- Develop and strengthen Liwa Education’s employer brand across LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging for recruitment campaigns, job ads, visuals, and recruitment fairs.
- Benchmark competitors’ recruitment strategies, compensation trends, and employer branding practices and share insights with HR leadership.
Recruitment Fairs & International Hiring
- Plan, organize, and participate in international and local recruitment fairs (UK, Ireland, South Africa, Middle East, etc.).
- Coordinate logistics, interview schedules, marketing materials, and candidate communications for recruitment events.
- Support virtual recruitment initiatives and online interview campaigns where required.
Selection & Interview Process
- Screen CVs, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews (online and face-to-face).
- Participate in interviews as required and support hiring managers with structured interview processes.
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Pre-Onboarding & Onboarding
- Manage pre-onboarding documentation and ensure timely communication with selected candidates.
- Ensure all recruitment documentation is prepared ahead of joining dates to remain competitive and compliant.
Compliance & Data Management
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with internal policies, ADEK, MOHRE, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and trackers for all applicants.
- Coordinate closely with HR Operations and PRO teams for visa, licensing, and compliance requirements.
Recruitment Analytics & Reporting
Prepare recruitment dashboards, analytics, and reports covering:
- Time-to-hire
- Cost-per-hire
- Source effectiveness
- Offer acceptance rates
- Market benchmarks
Highlight recruitment challenges, risks, and trends to the HR Manager / Director of HR with actionable recommendations.
Emiratization (Tawteen) Compliance
Track Emirati hiring, replacements, and exits against official Tawteen reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably within education or large organizations.
- Strong experience in LinkedIn sourcing, headhunting, and recruitment campaigns.
- Knowledge of UAE labour regulations, ADEK requirements, and Emiratisation frameworks is highly desirable.
