Job summary

A leading aviation company in Dubai is seeking a Receptionist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and be proficient in English communication. Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, managing correspondence, and providing administrative support to the procurement and administrative teams. This is a full-time entry-level position offering a permanent contract with daily on-site presence.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a smart well-organized and cheerful individual to join our team as a Receptionist. This is a full-time entry-level position based at our office in Dubai Airport Free Zone. The role offers a permanent contract and requires daily on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate team members
  • Answer incoming calls, transfer them as necessary and help schedule meetings
  • Receive couriers and distribute deliveries to relevant employees promptly
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and parcels
  • Order and maintain office supplies and monitor stock levels
  • Provide general clerical support including filing, document handling and simple information research
Provide Administrative Assistance
  • Assist the Procurement team by raising RFPs (Requests for Purchase)
  • Handle online applications for DAFZA gate passes and permits
  • Assist the Administration Officer in organizing company events and activities
  • Provide backup support to the Administrative Officer and other secretarial staff during absences or leave
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or Secretary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
  • Strong organizational, numerical and logical skills
  • A university degree is preferred but not mandatory
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage
