Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of the Radiologist is to diagnose medical issues through imaging tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans etc.
• This includes analyzing images taken from patients and interpreting them for diagnosis purposes.
• The Radiologist will review patient history documents and confer with physicians in order to understand the patient's condition better before diagnosing it accurately.
• They must also adhere to safety regulations while performing imaging tests on patients as well as ensuring all equipment is operating properly before use.

Qualifications

• Degree in radiology or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with imaging equipment as well as familiarity with relevant medical terminology is desirable but not essential if you’re willing to learn on the job.
