Job summary

Healthpoint in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Radiography Technologist to provide safe, accurate diagnostic imaging services across the department. You will support physicians and the multidisciplinary team, performing general X-ray imaging, fluoroscopy with C-Arm, endoscopy imaging, portable radiography, DEXA and mammography as needed.

The role requires a degree or diploma in radiography, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience and a valid DOH/DHA license or eligibility, plus BLS.

Qualifications

  • Formal degree or diploma in Radiography/Medical Imaging from an accredited institution.
  • Post-qualification experience in General Radiography is required (minimum 2 years).
  • Competency to work independently across X-Ray, fluoroscopy, endoscopy imaging, portable radiography, and OR C-Arm settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform General X-Ray Imaging per physician requests and protocols.
  • Support Fluoroscopy procedures including C-Arm operations in the OR.
  • Assist Endoscopy procedures with imaging support.
  • Conduct Portable/Mobile radiography across units and departments.
  • Perform DEXA scans and Mammography as required.
  • Participate in on-call radiography service.
  • Maintain ALARA principles and ensure patient safety and image quality.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to policies.

Healthpoint is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused Radiography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a Radiography Technologist, you will provide safe, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting physicians and multidisciplinary teams in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform General X-Ray Imaging examinations in accordance with physician requests, departmental protocols, and quality standards.
  • Provide imaging support for Fluoroscopy Procedures, including C-Arm operations in the Operating Theatre during surgical and interventional procedures.
  • Assist physicians during Endoscopy Procedures by delivering safe and effective imaging support.
  • Conduct Portable/Mobile Radiography examinations across inpatient units, emergency services, and other clinical areas.
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures including Bone Mineral Density (DEXA) Scans and Mammography.
  • Participate in the department's on-call radiography service, responding to urgent imaging requirements when required.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning while maintaining optimal image quality and compliance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety principles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain compliance with departmental policies, infection control standards, quality requirements, and professional practice guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Dploma in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, Medical/Diagnostic Imaging from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification experience in General Radiography
  • Demonstrated competency and ability to work independently in:
    • General X-Ray Imaging
    • Fluoroscopy Procedures
    • Endoscopy Imaging Support
    • Portable/Mobile Radiography
    • C-Arm Operations in the Operating Theatre
    • Bone Mineral Density (DEXA) Scanning
    • Mammography
    • On-Call Radiography Services
  • Valid DOH or DHA license (or DOH eligibility); with valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection, imaging protocols, and patient safety standards
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and radiology systems
