Job summary

A leading inspection services company in the UAE seeks an experienced Radiography Technician to support NDT operations. The role involves conducting Radiography inspections, documenting results, and ensuring safety standards are met. Candidates must have at least 3–5 years of experience as a certified ASNT Level II NDT technician and possess an ASNT Level II Radiography experience certificate. Good communication skills in English are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of work experience as a qualified and certified ASNT Level II NDT technician.
  • Experience with NDT test methods and procedures.
  • Ability to document and report inspection results.

Responsibilities

  • Support operation department with designated NDT work.
  • Carry out Radiography inspection as per standards.
  • Document inspection results and prepare reports.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

Skills

Position: Radiography Technician

Objectives:

  • To support the operation department with designated NDT scope of work
  • To maintain health and safety standard within the SSI HSEQ department
Key Responsibilities/Duties
  • Follow approved NDT test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions as per project requirement and company policy.
  • Carry out Radiography inspection as per client/code/standard/SSI Procedure.
  • Interpret Industrial codes, standards and specifications; document and report the results in the company reporting system.
  • Follow operation and job instructions as per practice.
  • Interpret the Radiography films after processing and report to operations.
  • Carry out MT/PT/Hardness tests as per operations requirement when required after necessary training.
  • RPO certified will be an added advantage.
  • Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports.
  • Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after completion.
  • Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate workplace and surrounding premises.
  • Always follow safety and FANR rules/regulations during on-site activities.
Specialized Knowledge
  • Experience in Radiography equipment
Ability & Skills
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal). Mandatory requirement.
Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of work experience as a qualified and certified ASNT Level II NDT technician
Academic Qualifications
  • Minimum Higher Secondary School
  • ASNT Level II Radiography experience certificate (Mandatory requirement)
