Position Title: R&D Product Manager - Ink

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: up to 25K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Job Location: Sharjah, UAE

About the Client: A UAE-based company and one of the largest paint manufacturers in the Middle East, offering a wide range of decorative, industrial, marine, powder, and eco-friendly coatings.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the formulation, innovation, and optimization of ink products, ensuring performance targets like adhesion, viscosity, drying time, color strength, printability, and environmental compliance are met.
  • Manage the full product development lifecycle from lab‑scale prototypes to pilot production and full‑scale manufacturing, aligning formulations with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with production, regulatory, sales, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with standards, support customer needs, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Drive cost reduction and sustainability initiatives by optimizing raw materials, improving existing products, and incorporating new technologies such as low‑VOC and bio‑based ink solutions.
Qualifications
  • Male, 30 years old and above.
  • Open to Indian, European and Arabic nationals.
  • At least 7 years experience in packaging or plant engineering, with strong knowledge of packaging materials, sustainability, regulations, and innovative design.
  • Skilled in packaging testing, quality assurance, data‑driven design, and project management.
