Job description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor Site to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction projects you will be responsible for managing costs contracts and financial aspects of our sitebased operations.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects considering materials labor and equipment
  • Conduct onsite measurements and quantity takeoffs to ensure precision in cost calculations
  • Analyze contract documents drawings and specifications to identify potential cost implications
  • Manage contract administration including change orders variations and claims
  • Prepare and review interim and final payment applications
  • Collaborate with project managers contractors and suppliers to optimize project costs
  • Monitor project budgets and forecast cash flow requirements
  • Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management review
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in sitebased quantity surveying
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX Buildsoft)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Indepth knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Experience in cost estimation contract administration and project management
  • Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced construction environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work onsite and travel as required
